Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical education, military training, and relevant experience.
  • A strong background in mechanical and electrical diagnostics, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • The ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and mechatronic system diagrams.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based operating systems, software installation, and system configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and modern computing applications.
  • A strong understanding of industrial automation systems.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • The ability to travel extensively by air and car, including overnight travel.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, commission, and start up surface-mount technology and industrial automation equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform equipment retrofits, upgrades, and custom modifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, software, and process-related issues onsite and remotely.
  • Provide advanced technical support to minimize customer downtime and escalate complex issues to engineering teams when needed.
  • Deliver operator and maintenance training to customer personnel.
  • Advise customers on process optimization, preventive maintenance, and equipment efficiency improvements.
  • Collect and analyze technical data to support troubleshooting, reliability tracking, and continuous process improvement.
  • Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation while communicating findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight and short-notice travel as required.
