Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional automotive technician experience, including a minimum of 2 years specializing in European vehicles at a dealership or independent European shop.
  • Proficiency with ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic and programming systems.
  • Capability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
  • Ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
  • Ability to learn additional skills and processes.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces dictated by the vehicle repair.
  • Sufficient dexterity to use hand tools efficiently.
  • Ability to walk and stand for most of the workday.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
  • Ability to navigate a computer efficiently.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and technical skills.
  • Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
  • Troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively as part of a team.
  • Follow and promote standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Work closely with the service department to communicate concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Desired Qualifications
  • ASE certifications are preferred, or candidates should have a plan to achieve them.
