  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, construction sequencing, and cost control practices
  • Experience managing brownfield renovations, tenant improvements (TI), or facility retrofits
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with building systems (MEP, structural, utilities) and interpreting construction documents
  • Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional coordination
Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of the Hanger 825 renovation project, from demolition and abatement through final buildout and commissioning
  • Develop, track, and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work aligned with operational milestones
  • Translate requirements from the internal design committee into actionable construction plans and work packages
  • Manage daily interaction with general contractors (GCs), subcontractors, architects, and consultants
  • Coordinate permitting, inspections, and interface with airport operations, city officials, and regulatory authorities
  • Lead weekly progress meetings with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and surface risks early
  • Report cost, schedule, and progress updates to the Head of Facilities and PMO, integrating data into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Ensure that construction activities follow all applicable EHS, OSHA, and building code regulations
  • Support early planning efforts on future buildouts, including scoping, feasibility studies, and capital forecasting
  • Conduct punch walks, final inspections, and project closeout documentation, ensuring delivery aligns with quality and operational expectations
