Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Masters degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience of a PhD and 5+ years of experience.
  • Industry leading expertise in one or more hardware engineering domains, with demonstrated ability to lead highly technical multi-disciplinary engineering teams (EE, PD, FW, Sensors, Materials, Process, OPS, and QA).
  • Proven track record in managing and executing through all stages of product development life cycle.
Responsibilities
  • You will own end to end delivery of all aspects of hardware engineering to enable multiple new products and programs.
  • You will create strategic and tactical plans to achieve organizational goals; and lead a cross functional team through their day-to-day operations to achieve said goals.
  • You will provide ‘voice-of-function’ in cross-functional decision making.
  • You will be accountable for the functional deliverables; works with extended teams to generate and review deliverables.
  • You will maintain linkages to functional area to ensure application of best practices, policies, business processes, etc.
  • You will lead functional reviews and contribution to the end to end development program through coordination of the extended team(s).
  • Mediate technical discussions and decisions.
  • Balance technical requirements with project cost, timeline and scope.
  • You will provide functional expertise to assist team in making optimal business decisions and recommendations.
