Responsibilities
  • Participate in current wellness activities and contribute to the creation of new wellness initiatives within the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management.
  • Act as a resource for planning, promoting, scheduling, setting up, hosting, and following up on wellness related events as needed.
  • Create content for the McGill Desautels Wellness Instagram account.
  • Engage in public speaking to promote wellness resources on campus.
  • Assist the Resilience and Wellness (RAW) committee members with tasks such as taking minutes, organizing events, and preparing documents and reports as needed.
  • Liaise with RAW committee members to identify key wellness related needs within the faculty, gather materials related to wellness education, and produce promotional materials.
  • Acts as a liaison between the unit and internal or external parties, such as fellow McGill students, to provide navigation assistance or information regarding wellness resources.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of McGill University student resources and the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management undergraduate and graduate programs is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ease and flexibility with technological applications with a proven ability to work using Microsoft Office and social media platforms. An asset.
  • Experience in the production of posters and promotional material with a proven ability to work with Canva or similar applications is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience with group work and event organization is an asset.
  • Applicant must be passionate about health promotion and student wellness.

The McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship helps people at McGill turn ideas into startups by providing education, mentorship, and practical startup frameworks.
