Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience in a technical support or enterprise support role
- Experience creating scripts in Python, Shell, or Bash
- Experience with networking, system administration, or Cloud Engineering
- Strong working knowledge of Linux (command line) for troubleshooting
- Effective oral and written communication skills with a wide range of audiences: working with engineers, as well as translating technical concepts to clients
- Possession of excellent customer support, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact for customer technical inquiries
- Provide remote and onsite support: troubleshooting, resolving, and applying workarounds to resolve technical issues
- Utilize Linux CLI tools to extract and analyze information for troubleshooting purposes
- Identify and resolve network and bandwidth-related issues affecting system performance
- Develop and modify simple shell and Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, enhance system efficiency, streamline workflows and maintain system health, including data cleaning procedures when device storage is at critical levels
- Collaborate effectively with clients, product, and engineering to understand and quickly resolve issues
- Document troubleshooting processes, resolutions, and best practices for future reference
