  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related field
  • 2+ years in purchasing, buying, or procurement
  • Demonstrated experience making data-driven decisions with incomplete information
  • Experience collaborating with important partners and building relationships across different teams
  • Proficient in Excel (can perform complex functions) , Google Sheets, Airtable, Smartsheet, or related tools
Responsibilities
  • Develop necessary company partner relationships to create strategic sourcing models that increase the value of necessary goods and services
  • Collaborate with team members to define service level agreements and metrics for suppliers and measure the appropriate criteria, such as: delivery of results, cost reduction, quality and timeliness of delivery
  • Conduct research, perform benchmarking, and gather market analysis for assigned categories
  • Prepare RFQs, RFPs, bid documents, evaluate proposals, and administer the evaluation process
  • Craft negotiation strategies and implement favorable terms and conditions
  • Create contract documents in collaboration with the legal department
  • Contribute input toward the creation and implementation of programs to assess and promote supplier performance, development and management (e.g., establishing quarterly and annual goals, conducting quarterly business reviews, formal scorecard measures)
  • Report on metrics within your category that support our goals
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Previous work in a startup environment
  • Financial and analyzation skills, supporting identification of cost savings opportunities and recommendations
