  • The candidate must have 8+ years of combined product management and engineering leadership experience, specifically focused on internal operational platforms, enterprise workflow tools, or scaling within a managed services provider, information technology services, or highly complex cloud environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Native or full professional bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to conduct complex technical architecture reviews and strategic executive presentations in both languages.
  • Global Leadership: A proven track record of managing, scaling, and culturally integrating distributed engineering teams, with specific experience bridging LATAM execution with United States corporate strategy.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 20 percent internationally to our United States headquarters and regional LATAM engineering centers.
  • Operational Scaling: Demonstrated ability to build platforms that drive exponential leverage capacity and replace legacy information technology governance with automated workflows.
  • Hands-On Technical Literacy: Deep practical understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, modern software architecture, and API integrations, and the ability to engage directly in technical problem-solving with developers.
  • Microsoft AI Acumen: Proven expertise in building and deploying agentic artificial intelligence workflows using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio, particularly involving operational automation, automated alert resolution, or large language model-assisted workflow generation.
Responsibilities
  • Own the roadmap for AMP and drive features that reduce manual overhead and enable scalable revenue without proportional headcount growth.
  • Automate client onboarding by transitioning service ingestion pipelines to fully automated self-deployments and self-configurations.
  • Establish enterprise guardrails by building platform features that enforce operational compliance across departments through system-enforced service level agreements.
  • Lead the unified engineering organization across US and LATAM hubs, fostering a one-team culture and expanding global development capacity.
  • Drive strategy and development of agentic AI workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, focusing on autonomous triage, routing, and resolution of high-runner alerts to reduce manual intervention.
  • Accelerate development velocity by deploying and mandating advanced AI coding tools and methodologies across all engineering teams.
  • Lead the client-facing portal development (SERA) to reflect health, security, and optimization of client environments.
  • Build platform features to support proactive, data-backed client retention and expansion strategies.
  • Act as the cross-border cultural integration bridge between US-based teams and LATAM hubs, erasing silos and aligning culture.
  • Mentor Directors, Lead Engineers, and product managers across time zones to foster psychological safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Atmosera acquires Hikru to expand Microsoft-native platform across the Americas

Atmosera has completed a strategic transaction to combine with Hikru, a Costa Rica-based technology services firm, expanding its Microsoft-focused platform across the Americas. The deal adds engineering talent and strengthens Atmosera's ability to support enterprise modernization initiatives across Azure, data and AI platforms, software engineering, and managed services. Atmosera, a Microsoft Azure Expert MSP based in Oregon, serves enterprise clients across cloud modernization, security operations and AI enablement. The combination with Hikru extends its engineering capabilities across Latin America, from the Southern Cone to Mexico and the Caribbean. Hikru's clients will continue working with existing teams whilst gaining access to Atmosera's broader capabilities. The transaction strengthens Atmosera's position within Microsoft's global partner ecosystem and aligns with Microsoft's Americas operating model.
