Requirements
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality while handling sensitive financial and company information.
  • Familiarity with reconciliations and general accounting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, and work at a computer in an office setting, remaining stationary for 50%–100% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and process weekly accounts payable runs, including urgent payment requests as needed.
  • Follow up with employees and vendors to obtain missing receipts, invoices, approvals, and supporting documentation.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain organized accounts payable records and ensure proper documentation is retained.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations in accordance with the month-end close schedule.
  • Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and on time each month.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, working with internal teams and vendors as needed.
  • Escalate outstanding issues when appropriate.
  • Collect and organize production receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation throughout each project.
  • Provide day-to-day accounting support to production teams and assist with financial inquiries.
  • Process production-related vendor payments and crew reimbursements accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist in maintaining complete and organized financial records for each production.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous accounting, bookkeeping, internship, or relevant office experience.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Experience with Wrapbook or other production payroll/accounting platforms.
  • Experience in production, entertainment, advertising, or project-based accounting.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
