As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of ensuring the quality of the projects we deliver for our clients.

What you will do:

• Conduct quality assurance for software development projects.
• Develop and maintain automated testing suites that can be run locally and in CI/CD environments.
• Develop tests that ensure compliance with accessibility standards, such as WCAG and Section 508.
• Advise project teams on testing needs during requirements gathering.
• Determine appropriate test data for a given testing requirement.
• Collaborate with team members, including developers, business analysts, and UX designers, on creating optimal tests.

What you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or the equivalent in working experience.
• Java development experience and/or experience developing tests for Java-based applications.
• 3+ years of experience conducting quality assurance for software development.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated testing suites.
• 3+ years of experience writing code-based tests in a variety of languages and environments.
• 3+ years of experience integrating and using current testing tools and technologies.

We would love to see:

• Knowledge of the most current testing and automation technologies for software quality assurance as well as the ability to evaluate new testing tools and determine suitability.
• Front-end coding knowledge and/or ability to work closely with front-end developers.
• Experience ensuring software conformance with software accessibility standards, such as WCAG and Section 508.
• Experience working on large government projects.

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $100,000.
