  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or the equivalent in working experience
  • Java development experience and/or experience developing tests for Java-based applications
  • 3+ years of experience conducting quality assurance for software development
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining automated testing suites
  • 3+ years of experience writing code-based tests in a variety of languages and environments
  • 3+ years of experience integrating and using current testing tools and technologies
  • Knowledge of the most current testing and automation technologies for software quality assurance as well as the ability to evaluate new testing tools and determine suitability
  • Front-end coding knowledge and/or ability to work closely with front-end developers
  • Experience ensuring software conformance with software accessibility standards, such as WCAG and Section 508
  • Experience working on large government projects
  • Conduct quality assurance for software development projects
  • Develop and maintain automated testing suites that can be run locally and in CI/CD environments
  • Develop tests that ensure compliance with accessibility standards, such as WCAG and Section 508
  • Advise project teams on testing needs during requirements gathering
  • Determine appropriate test data for a given testing requirement
  • Collaborate with team members, including developers, business analysts, and UX designers, on creating optimal tests
