  • Tech savvy - proficient working knowledge of Google for Business and Microsoft products (GMail/Docs/Drive/Sheets/Chat and Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc), Slack and Workplace
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills (must have the ability to communicate succinctly and eloquently)
  • Provide all encompassing administrative support - be the primary point of contact for all daily admin needs. Staying organised, up to date and one step ahead is essential
  • Working closely day to day with the COO's EA to help pick up team requests and prioritise tasks
  • Be proactive - what's coming up? What part can you play to help the teams within your org?
  • Help manage spending - raising POs, paying invoices and adding contracts to Procurement Hub
  • Create expense reports and be the delegate approver for the COO's direct reports expense claims. Set the standard for team spending and ensure your monthly corporate card expense reports are processed in a timely manner
  • Assisting in recruitment and onboarding new hires - help organise interviews, be on hand in the office for interview loops with candidates, ensure correct access to all tools is set up and new starters have shiny new equipment ready and waiting for them on day one
  • Meeting roommanagement - help allocate meeting rooms and ensure everything is set up, tidy and in good working order before important internal and external meetings/events
  • Travel - booking of hotels, flights, trains and taxis. Looking at travel logistics and ensure spend is within company policy. Delegate approval for COO's direct reports bookings
  • Organising offsites and internal team events - ensuring there are no important clashes within the business. Sending out calendar invites with all relevant information/agenda
  • Assisting in coordination of monthly All Hands, sending out diary invites, liaising with IT for set up, assisting with updating slide content, preparing refreshments etc
  • Ensure all email groups are up to date. Adding new starters, removing leavers and ensuring Slack group members are correct
  • Arranging for signatures of important company documents, working with Legal/Finance to ensure documents are up to date, copies scanned and are on file as required
  • Constantly scan our companycommunications to ensure teams do not miss key threads of issues, concerns or things to celebrate. Sharing information and sending reminders on team Slack channels
  • You'll be at the heart of our team'soperations. You'll help us build a strong team dynamic and culture, ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly - come up with exciting and creative ways to celebrate events and moments important to the team culture and people ‑ such organising celebrations for birthdays, anniversaries, leavers and other team occasions
  • Working closely with the org EAs to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Be visible in the office, help with adhoc requests, lunch collections, printing, flagging IT and facilities issues, checking post, arranging couriers etc
  • Generally be friendly and have a love of being helpful - we can sometimes still feel like a start-up and need everyone to “muck in” when needed (however big or small the task)
  • Be an extension of the team and exemplary Deliveroo employee - live our values, encourage others to do the same

  • A self-starter who is comfortable with constant change and doesn't need hand-holding (although you will have lots of support and people willing to pitch-in along the way!)
