Requirements
  • 5+ years’ direct internal investigations experience with background experience in legal, consulting, audit, or risk management.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • In-house technology company experience
  • JD a plus.
  • International experience and language skills are highly desirable.
  • Possess solid understanding of global compliance and integrity issues and have exposure to key compliance risk areas.
  • Extensive investigations experience at a multi-national or other large, complex organization.
  • Outstanding judgment and discretion in sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work cross functionally to establish, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to manage risk and comply with our Standards of Business Conduct and legal obligations.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain sound judgment in fast-paced, ambiguous and changing environments.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, including influencing and interacting at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial, business, and legal issues and communicate them in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Self-motivated team player, with the ability to drive projects, identify and resolve legal and business issues in a pragmatic fashion, and earn the confidence of and cooperation of your business partners, including executive leadership.
  • Effective communication skills with exceptional writing and speaking skills, including an excellent executive presence.
  • Ability to spot an issue before it’s an issue – with the instinct is to jump in and address it.
Responsibilities
  • Partner cross-functionally with relevant stakeholder groups to coordinate, direct, and conduct internal investigations at LinkedIn and strengthen organizational justice across the workplace.
  • Monitor and manage the operation of the Integrity Helpline and other communications channels to ensure that employee questions and concerns are addressed and that incidents are appropriately assigned, investigated, and resolved in compliance with internal procedures.
  • Maintain and enhance the operations, procedures, and processes governing compliance-directed investigations.
  • Socialize investigation learnings with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to support remediation, control enhancement, and enhancement of compliance culture.
  • Develop and implement action plans and governance frameworks in response to investigation, regulatory, testing or audit findings.
  • Proactively identify areas of risk and drive solutions to enhance the compliance program and culture at LinkedIn.
  • Apply subject matter expertise and good project management discipline to all ethics and compliance initiatives including appropriate documentation, tracking and reporting.
  • Coordinate the implementation and execution of ethics and compliance initiatives.
  • Advise employees on compliance matters, policies, legal and compliance risks.
  • Craft relevant and engaging communications and presentations to educate leadership and other relevant employee stakeholder groups on compliance matters at LinkedIn.
