Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • The ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
  • 10 years of Program or Project Management experience + a bachelor's degree may be substituted for 2 additional years of experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role with financial responsibilities to include: Assigning work to subordinates based on employee’s capabilities, priorities, and difficulty.; Developing performance standards and evaluates employee performance.; Providing technical and administrative oversight, advice, and instruction.; Interviewing candidates and recommending hiring, promotions, etc.; Hearing and resolving employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision.; Implementing disciplinary measures such as warnings and reprimands and recommending more serious disciplinary measure to higher supervision.; Identifying and arranging for employee developmental and training requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of work programs and functions
  • Proven leadership skills in directing management programs
  • Ability to focus on long-term strategies and initiatives that support a positive outcome
  • Ability to manage activities of first-level managers and/or supervisors
  • 10 years in leading and managing teams to include organizing, guiding, and leading multidisciplinary teams through the initiation, completion, coordination, and presentation of complex projects.

Responsibilities
  • Experience contributing to or supporting programs that encountered delivery, performance, or compliance challenges—and the ability to articulate key takeaways and adjustments made.
  • Develop and direct programs in relation to cost, schedule, and performance criteria
  • Responsible for all program-level strategic planning for Contracts in the areas of physical security and emergency management
  • Design and proactively monitor progress of programs
  • Resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Ensure effective quality assurance and overall integrity of programs
  • Manage program budgets and financial aspects of program management
Desired Qualifications
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) in good standing.
  • Solid understanding of DoD structures, acquisition processes
  • An active Secret clearance
