Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of privacy experience
  • Strong project management experience across supporting cross functional projects with an ability to execute and deliver on strategic initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, and MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and effectively manage time
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification desired
Responsibilities
  • Maintains and evolves the Bazaarvoice privacy program through program assessment and management of significant initiatives in close collaboration with key stakeholders from the Legal, Engineering, Security and Product teams
  • Implements and maintains a privacy governance framework to manage data use in compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including developing policies, standards and templates, and assistance with data mapping and vendor management reviews
  • Serves as a resource for client inquiries and conversations related to the privacy program
  • Manages existing processes related to data privacy requests, policy maintenance, and other program requirements as needed
  • Manages strategic deliverables, defining and communicating milestones and success criteria to key stakeholders, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery
  • Assists in the development of content designed to enhance cultural awareness and comprehension of data privacy, laws and topics
  • Participates in audit and regulatory inquiries
  • Engages in industry and related forums to collaborate on opportunities to enhance the privacy program
  • Collaborates directly with all key stakeholders and affected corporate function
  • Designing and implementing data protection and privacy programs
  • Evaluating the data protection and privacy practices in order to support the legal and DPO function
  • Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments
  • Supporting and guiding the business in adhering to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
  • Managing the Privacy mailbox
  • Ensuring a harmonised approach towards data protection and privacy by bringing together business stakeholders legal, compliance, risk, HR, security
  • Assisting the business in privacy related incident response activities and Data Subject requests
  • Develops and facilitates privacy training sessions for the business
