Requirements
  • 2–4+ years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation, systems configuration, business analysis, or a comparable role bridging customer requirements and a technical platform.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail, including the ability to bring structure to complexity and catch edge cases.
  • Experience governing processes in a way that encourages adoption without proliferation.
  • Comfort working with structured data and configuration logic such as JSON, rules engines, and conditional or branching logic; ability to read, reason about, and build logical rule structures.
  • Strong communication and requirements-gathering skills, including the ability to interview stakeholders and customers to surface the process beneath a written standard operating procedure.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with onboarding, operations, account management, and product to gather requirements, clarify ambiguity in customer standard operating procedures, and validate configured workflows against operational intent.
  • Parse complex customer standard operating procedures into accurate, custom workflows within the core platform.
  • Build and maintain JSON-defined workflow diagrams specifying business rules, order activities, triggers, and conditions.
  • Own workflow configuration accuracy and completeness end to end.
  • Configure mobile workflows guiding drivers through customer-specific field activities, including captures, scans, confirmations, and exception handling.
  • Test and validate workflows before launch, iterate as requirements change, identify edge cases, and improve configuration reliability.
  • Identify common patterns across customers and verticals and design reusable workflow components and templates.
  • Help shape tooling, standards, and best practices for faster and more reliable workflow configuration.
  • Track workflow adherence, automation rate, and service-level performance; identify improvements and increase the share of orders running on autopilot.
  • Own end-to-end workflow configuration for new customer onboardings and deliver accurate, timely workflow and mobile configurations with minimal field defects.
  • Build fluency in the workflow engine, JSON workflow schema, and mobile configuration tools; shadow customer onboardings and configure and ship a customer workflow under guidance.
  • Independently own workflow governance and mobile configuration for new customer onboardings and build reusable components and templates that improve configuration speed and consistency.
Desired Qualifications
  • A proven background taking complicated standard operating procedures and parsing them into actionable process flow diagrams or structured workflows.
  • Familiarity with process-mapping tools such as BPMN, Lucidchart, or Visio.
  • Logistics, supply chain, or operations experience.

Airspace is a tech-enabled freight forwarder focused on time-critical logistics. It uses an AI-powered platform to plan routes, compare options, and provide end-to-end real-time tracking for shipments. The system monitors environmental conditions such as shock, temperature, and humidity, and delivers proactive communications plus a shareable tracking link for clients. The service targets industries with urgent, sensitive deliveries—healthcare (e.g., organ shipments) and aviation (e.g., critical aircraft parts)—offering higher reliability and visibility than traditional freight forwarders. Its goal is to make complex, urgent shipments more transparent and dependable by combining advanced routing with continuous monitoring and client-facing updates.
