Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
  • Ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
  • Ability and willingness to learn additional skills and processes.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move over 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces as required by the repair.
  • Manual dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
  • Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the workday.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
  • Ability to efficiently navigate a computer.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using automotive knowledge and technical skills.
  • Build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
  • Troubleshoot guest concerns as part of a team.
  • Follow and promote safety, cleanliness, and organization standards.
  • Communicate guest concerns effectively with the service department.
  • Work with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver results.

  • ASE certifications are preferred, or candidates should have a plan to achieve them.
  • A positive attitude and desire to serve guests.
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
