Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or other managerial position (PMP a plus)
  • Balanced business/technical background; prior experience with SCRUM/Agile
  • Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods
  • Familiarity with Agile principles – blending traditional project management practices with an Agile development approach to provide the appropriate level of agility and predictability
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Miro, etc.) is a strong advantage
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills (to include presentation skills)
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Industry knowledge of the insurance sector & related operational models is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
  • Formulate, organize, lead, and monitor specific projects
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Manage risks and issues and take corrective measurements within each project
  • Articulate and manage project metrics including outcomes, budget, and ROI
  • Manage and utilize resources (internal and external) across projects
  • Resolve projects’ higher scope issues
  • Manage stakeholders’ communication
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
