Requirements
  • A bachelor's-level BE, BTech, or BCA qualification is required.
  • Five to eight years of professional experience is required.
  • Strong Python engineering experience is required, including asynchronous programming, object-oriented programming, data structures, scripting, and production AI pipeline development.
  • Experience with generative artificial intelligence, large language models, prompt engineering, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and semantic search is required.
  • Experience implementing agentic patterns, including orchestration, tool use, function calling, memory and state management, and workflow design, is required.
  • Strong application programming interface, microservices, integration, testing, and debugging experience is required.
  • Deep understanding of AI agent design, reasoning loops, orchestration patterns, and multi-agent coordination architectures is required.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models such as GPT-4, Claude, or Gemini is required, including prompt engineering, few-shot techniques, chain-of-thought techniques, and structured outputs.
  • Experience designing retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, integrating vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or ChromaDB, and implementing semantic search is required.
  • Proficiency with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or CrewAI is required for production agentic workflow development.
  • Strong Python skills are required; Java or .NET is acceptable.
  • Experience developing REST or GraphQL APIs, designing microservices, and applying enterprise application integration patterns is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform is required, including cloud-native architecture, infrastructure provisioning, and managed artificial intelligence services.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, GitOps, and automated deployment practices is required.
  • Knowledge of security principles, identity management such as OAuth and Azure Active Directory, artificial intelligence guardrails, bias mitigation, and enterprise compliance is required.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Appian, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Teams, or Power Platform is required.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence solution testing, large-language-model output evaluation, observability, tracing, monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization is required.
  • Intermediate English language ability is required.
Responsibilities
  • Own the design and build of complex Python-led AI/ML and agentic artificial intelligence modules across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Design and implement agent workflows, tool-calling patterns, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, vector search, and enterprise grounding approaches.
  • Guide L11 and L10 engineers through code reviews, design clarifications, testing practices, and technical issue resolution.
  • Drive application programming interface, microservices, and enterprise platform integration readiness across assigned components.
  • Contribute to artificial intelligence testing, observability, responsible artificial intelligence controls, monitoring, performance optimization, and production support for readiness.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or equivalent agentic artificial intelligence frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform; Docker; Kubernetes; continuous integration and continuous delivery; GitOps; and deployment automation.
  • Exposure to responsible artificial intelligence, LLMOps, artificial intelligence evaluation, monitoring, OAuth, and Azure Active Directory.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
