Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience with IT infrastructure security or IAM administration
  • Experience with implementing security solutions for network, system, and application security
  • Experience with administering and managing IAM solutions identity management systems, including Active Directory, or Azure AD
  • Experience with access control solutions, such as Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and frameworks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and IAM solutions
  • Experience with security frameworks, such as NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK
  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • CISSP, Security+, or CCNA Security certification
Responsibilities
  • Play a critical role in the world of identity and access management and zero trust
  • Secure IT infrastructure and access controls by implementing Zero Trust principles aligned with government clients
  • Interface with stakeholders and engineering teams to delve into the details and dependencies of critical processes and users’ roles within them
  • Collaborate with security and IT leadership to design, implement, and maintain a Zero Trust security posture across IT infrastructure and IAM systems
  • Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in existing infrastructure and access controls
  • Develop and implement Zero Trust principles within both infrastructure and IAM domains, including network segmentation, micro-perimeters, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Just-in-Time (JIT) access, and Principle of Least Privilege (POLP)
  • Configure and manage infrastructure security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and IAM solutions, such as identity providers, access control systems, and user provisioning tools
  • Analyze Zero Trust principles into infrastructure and application security policies, working collaboratively with application owners
  • Analyze and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices for both infrastructure and IAM
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Zero Trust advancements, and industry best practices for infrastructure and IAM security
  • Educate and train internal stakeholders on Zero Trust concepts and security best practices for both infrastructure and IAM
