- Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
- Maintains cost models to accurately calculate the cost of products, services, and operations, including direct and indirect expenses.
- Performs monthly cost accounting functions, including database structure, cost allocations, and assumptions.
- Establishes accurate cost data for organizational decision-making.
- Verifies and reconciles the source data for all analyses and confirms assumptions with finance management.
- Leads in-depth profit and loss analysis for various service lines, including Surgical Services, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology.
- Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams across departments to gather information, better understand business needs, and communicate findings through analytics.
- Works with various department leaders, including Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain, to help improve the organization's financial performance.
- Collaborates closely with the CFO, Director of Finance Decision Support, Controller, and department managers to align financial performance with organizational goals.
- Mentors new hires/ less-tenured employees on the monthly cost accounting process, assisted in answering their questions as they eventually performed the process independently, and worked with them to design and implement process improvements.
- Performs ad hoc profitability and statistical analysis upon request.
- Track and monitor the effectiveness of cost-saving initiatives.
- Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred.
- A minimum of five years of hospital cost accounting and financial analysis experience is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Strata EPSi, or similar computer-based cost accounting decision support systems is preferred.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel is desired.

The NASCAR Foundation announces two new additions to its Board of Directors. March 24, 2026 at 1:09 PM The NASCAR Foundation welcomes two new members to its Board of Directors, including businesswoman and philanthropist Amy Lea France and former Halifax Health Executive Director Joe Petrock. "Amy Lea France and Joe Petrock are wonderful additions to the NASCAR Foundation Board," said Mike Helton, Chairman of the Board, The NASCAR Foundation. "Both bring unique perspectives and a shared passion for the sport, the community and supporting the health and quality of life for children and their families. Their leadership and expertise will help us continue to expand the reach and impact of our programs." Amy Lea France, a longtime advocate for charitable initiatives, brings a deep connection to NASCAR and a passion for community service. Through her philanthropic work, she has supported numerous programs focused on children's health, education, and family well-being. Her experience and dedication to service will help guide the Foundation as it continues to grow its mission and outreach. France previously served and supported numerous local and national charities, including Easter Seals, Halifax Humane Society, Straight Up Soldier Foundation, United Abolitionists, Ronald McDonald House, Clean the World, American Heart Association, and Michael J. Fox Foundation. Her role as a businesswoman across multiple organizations along with her longstanding roots in racing make her a natural addition to The NASCAR Foundation. Joe Petrock served as Executive Director at Halifax Health, where he played a key role in advancing patient care initiatives and community health programs. With extensive experience in healthcare leadership and nonprofit collaboration, Petrock offers valuable insight into strengthening partnerships that benefit children and families served by The NASCAR Foundation. Petrock has served as President or on the boards of over 20 county organizations, including the Daytona/Halifax Area Chamber, Junior Achievement, FUTURES Education Foundation for Volusia County Schools, Florida International Festival, United Way, March of Dimes, Daytona Beach Rotary Club, Checkered Flag Committee, United Negro College Fund, and the Volusia Manufacturing Association. Throughout his philanthropic career, Petrock has been recognized for civic involvement by numerous organizations and was recently awarded the J. Saxton Lloyd Lifetime Achievement Award for community service by The Civic League of the Halifax Area.
