POSITION TITLE: Summer 2023 Intern - Revenue Operations
LOCATION: Indianapolis, IN
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Revenue Operations reports into Salesforce Finance and is responsible for the revenue lifecycle for the company. RevOps owns the Quote-to-Cash process which includes everything from Sales Operations, Order Management, Product Operations, Incentive Compensation Design/Ops, to Support & Strategy, and RevOps Data Insights and Scalability. We are the trusted advisor on the ACV lifecycle and are at the forefront of driving continued growth for Salesforce into the future and beyond.
The selected candidates will be joining an established Global Support Sales Operations team who provides support to 2,000+ Account Executives globally under the Small Medium & Commercial business units globally.
YOUR IMPACT (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Learn about and operate within Revenue Operations’ Salesforce instance Org62
- Learn and handle Sales Operations case handling best practices for Tier 1-Tier 2 level Sales Ops support
- Provide outstanding Quote-to-Cash support and guidance to help Account Executives execute Sales transactions
- Contributes ideas and innovations to improve upon existing systems, work processes and procedures
- Create and update internal departmental Policies and business process mapping
- Ad-hoc projects, report generating, data analysis as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Current Sophomore/Rising Junior pursuing a BA/BS degree in Business, Finance or Economics (Winter 2024 to Spring 2025 Grad)
- GPA exceeding 3.25
- Exceptional levels of critical thinking, problem solving, planning and organizing, decision making, adaptability, communication, influencing, and persuasion
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to articulate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately debate difficult issues; ability to think quickly
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Ability to analyze problems quickly and seek out solutions to achieve optimum outcomes in case resolution
- Ability to work independently
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Demonstrated initiative
- Able to use Microsoft/Google suite of tools effectively (excel/google sheets)
- Ability to understand broader business and financial issues, juggle multiple projects and tasks, and to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to clearly articulate case resolutions and actions required by Account Executives
- Thrives in a team environment
