Requirements
  • 6+ years of sales or business development experience, ideally in solar, renewable energy, or power infrastructure.
  • Proven success in closing large-scale PV or infrastructure deals across Europe.
  • Established network within the solar developer, EPC, and IPP communities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in complex deal structuring and contract negotiation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (Spanish, French, German, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the European region.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Europe, aligning with Nextracker’s regional and global goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from early engagement and proposal development through to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Build strong relationships with solar developers, EPCs, IPPs, and financial stakeholders across European markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, monitor market trends, and assess competitive positioning.
  • Support pipeline forecasting and deal structuring to meet revenue targets and maintain healthy margins.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to customize technical solutions and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Represent Nextracker at key industry events, conferences, and customer engagements across Europe.
  • Maintain accurate records and forecasting in CRM systems such as Salesforce and Netsuite.
