Job Description
An in-office, three-day-a-week hybrid schedule for a candidate local to one of our offices is preferred.
Under the mentorship and supervision of a senior consultant, you will develop specialized knowledge, skills, and experience through a combination of independent study and hands-on training. After completing the initial program, you will begin managing a select group of qualified retirement plans, which will involve all aspects of plan design and daily administration. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily activities such as investing payroll contributions, determining employee eligibility for benefits, and processing related tasks, withdrawal requests, and more.
Responsibilities:
Manage retirement savings plan cash flow.
Investing Employee and Employer Contributions.
Reconciling plan assets.
Monitor and analyze daily transactions.
Prepare and review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
Annual compliance testing and employer contribution calculations.
Form 5500 preparation and audit support.
Participant notice and plan document generation.
Accurately handle and process benefit payments and loan requests.
Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to phone and email inquiries.
Discuss retirement savings plan features with employer clients and their employees.
Continuously gain knowledge of the financial industry and market through ongoing education and industry certifications offered through ASPPA.
