Requirements
  • A minimum high school diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 1–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry is required.
  • The employee must follow warehouse standard operating procedures and all safety protocols.
  • The employee must have experience with current Good Manufacturing Practices compliance within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • The employee must be able to write and maintain current Good Manufacturing Practices documentation.
  • The employee must have verbal and written communication skills.
  • The employee must be able to work and communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • The employee must be able to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize tasks.
  • The employee must regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
  • The employee must have close-vision ability.
  • The employee must be able to lift and move approximately 50-pound drums or containers.
  • The employee must be able to work in a confined area and stand or sit for long periods.
Responsibilities
  • Set up the dispensing room according to standard operating procedures and the specifications in the Batch Manufacturing Record.
  • Document all setup and cleaning activities in the logbook and other pertinent paperwork.
  • Dispense approved raw and packaging materials from the warehouse according to standard operating procedures and the Production Batch Record.
  • Check approved raw and packaging material information against the Batch Manufacturing Record.
  • Issue raw and packaging materials according to the Batch Manufacturing Record and record issuance information in the Production Batch Record, inventory card, and other pertinent paperwork.
  • Enforce first-in, first-out procedures for all material withdrawals.
  • Check the expiry and retest dates of all materials before dispensing.
  • Clean the dispensing room after dispensing according to standard operating procedures.
  • Store raw and packaging materials in qualified warehouse locations after dispensing.
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse floors and storage locations.
  • Perform daily calibration.
  • Keep the staging area and dispensing room clean during operations.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain SAP Material Management inventory by issuing and receiving raw materials daily.
  • Use the SAP process flow from material receipt through finished-product shipping.
  • Use SAP transaction codes for material receipt and material issuance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate degree is preferred.
  • Experience in dispensing, weighing, or mixing raw materials is highly preferred.
  • Forklift experience is highly preferred; candidates without it must be open to learning forklift operation.
  • Experience in SAP Material Management is highly desirable.
