Job Summary
The Vice President of Manufacturing & Quality Technology Solutions is responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology applications that support the Manufacturing & Quality groups.
This leader will play a critical role in driving innovation and digital transformation across the organization, enabling seamless integration and optimization of technology solutions to support the strategic objectives of the product divisions.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leaders.
Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy to support the needs of Product Divisions and Quality.
Lead a team of technology professionals in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications, systems, and tools tailored to each corporate function’s requirements.
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives and translate them into technology solutions.
Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and trends that can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across corporate functions.
Establish and maintain governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and internal policies.
Manage vendor relationships and strategic partnerships to leverage external expertise and resources as needed.
Provide guidance and support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions, including user training and change management initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to assess the performance and impact of technology initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Certifications & Licensure
Work Experience
Proven experience (10+ years) in tech leadership, with focus on developing & implementing manufacturing & quality solutions.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Strong understanding of enterprise systems, software development methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving business needs and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage complex projects, and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
Knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and security standards related to technology applications in corporate environments.
Excellent business acumen and interpersonal skills; able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and affect change to achieve common goals.
Proven ability to describe business use cases/outcomes, data sources and management concepts, and analytical approaches/options. The ability to translate among the vocabulary used by executive, business, IT and stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with effective collaboration and ability to influence senior management.
