Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Contracts Administrator to join the qualified and diverse individuals of the Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) supporting commercial contracts and NASA agreements for products and services. This position is located in Dulles, Virginia.
The successful candidate will work closely with business development, program managers, finance, legal counsel, supply chain, export control and other groups. Experienced contracts professionals will aid the successful candidate in contracts knowledge development and provide counsel and training related to commercial contracts and U.S. Government contracts. Working as a team, we cover a wide range of contractual activities and strive to address contracts challenges. Position general responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reviewing and obtaining approval of contractual documents.
- Maintaining close attention to detail.
- Bridging contract requirements and program execution
- Establishing and managing company electronic contractual records.
- Commitment to meet customer needs and completion timeframes.
- Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 8+ years of Contracts, Subcontracts, or directly related experience, or Master’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant Contracts, Subcontracts, or directly related experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Solid foundation in interpreting and drafting changes to commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, memorandums of agreement, teaming agreements and similar documents.
- Experience in U.S. Government contracts and FAR, DFARS, and/or NASA FAR Supplements.
- Self-starter, actively pursue problem resolution and obtain needed coordination with stakeholders.
- Desire to learn, increase knowledge base and gain additional experience.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Significant experience in utilizing M365.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, law degree or paralegal experience.
- Extensive experience in drafting and interpreting commercial contracts for supplies and services and related or supporting documents, including, but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, memorandums of agreement, teaming agreements and similar documents.
Salary Range: $109,900.00 - $164,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
