Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, business-process management, or process architecture, including ownership of a company-level process model rather than only single-project work.
  • Expertise in Business Process Model and Notation 2.0, Event-driven Process Chain notations, and process frameworks and hierarchies such as the APQC Process Classification Framework or equivalent.
  • Cross-functional literacy across finance, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain.
  • Engineer-to-order literacy, including modeling businesses where the bill of materials is an output of engineering, cost is captured against job cost codes, and fabrication capacity rather than a routing drives the plan.
  • Systems and data literacy, including exposure to enterprise resource planning implementation and understanding of master data, units of measure, item masters, cost-code structures, integrations, and system-of-record thinking.
  • Ability to facilitate process decisions with busy senior experts while minimizing their time commitment.
  • Ability to mediate between the company's actual operations and an enterprise resource planning system's default assumptions with a senior implementation partner.
  • Ability to write procedures and definitions that people read and follow.
  • Comfort working inside a bespoke, actively developed platform whose backlog is maintained in GitHub.
Responsibilities
  • Own the company process map end to end, including the modeling standard, process hierarchy, and sign-off ritual, and act as editor-in-chief of the single source of truth.
  • Verify every in-scope process with its function owner by facilitating working sessions, resolving warnings and conflicts, and securing formal sign-off.
  • Model current-state and future-state processes in Business Process Model and Notation 2.0; establish and maintain Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Customer definitions and Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed assignments across finance, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and supply chain.
  • Link processes to systems and data by mapping each process to the systems that execute it and the data it owns or consumes, and feed enterprise resource planning configuration, integration design, and reporting requirements.
  • Operate and co-develop the Process Atlas platform as its daily superuser and content steward, and shape its product backlog with the software engineer.
  • Own target-state process design and carry it into the enterprise resource planning implementation by translating signed-off processes into configuration-ready form and representing StructureCraft in design and validation workshops.
  • Maintain the process map within 10 working days of any approved process or organizational change.
  • Own continuous improvement after go-live by measuring process performance, capturing improvement candidates, and governing future-state changes through the sign-off ritual.
  • Help transform business processes into an artificial-intelligence-centric system and configure artificial intelligence agents hands-on across functions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in engineering, consulting, or construction process mapping, or exposure to prefabricated structures.
  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic or a comparable manufacturing or project enterprise resource planning system.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process-improvement training.
  • Hands-on experience with process repositories and modeling tools.

StructureCraft is a structural engineering and master builder studio that operates globally to create timber-forward, efficient structures. It handles the full range of structural work for steel, concrete, and glass, with a special emphasis on timber where the structure is exposed as part of the architecture. The company combines engineering, digital design, project management, and on-site craft to deliver projects from concept to construction. Unlike many peers, StructureCraft integrates design and fabrication with a strong focus on timber, material efficiency, and visual quality, delivering projects within budget while maximizing architectural expression. Its goal is to produce excellent built environments by coordinating engineering and construction through a practical, technology-forward approach, backed by over 28 years of experience on more than 10 million square feet of structures across North America and beyond.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • 2026 pavilion already generated two real client applications, showing commercial pull.
  • NetApp deal in July 2026 upgrades global collaboration and AI-ready design workflows.
  • Broad project pipeline spans schools, museums, bridges, and headquarters across North America and Italy.

What critics are saying

  • Closed hiring until January 2027 signals demand normalization or cash discipline pressure.
  • Project concentration in bespoke timber exposes revenue to architect-led signature-project cycles.
  • If mass-timber adoption stalls, StructureCraft's premium niche weakens against larger general contractors.

What makes StructureCraft unique

  • Abbotsford HQ combines 60,000-square-foot engineering office, prefabrication shop, and research facility.
  • StructureCraft delivers timber, steel, glass, and concrete through engineer-builder integration.
  • Curved DLT pavilion at 2026 Mass Timber Conference proved complex fabrication capability.
