Maven is looking for an HRBP who will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization’s growth. In this position, you will collaborate closely with management, providing strategic insight and advice, while developing and driving people programs, including performance management, organizational development, learning and development, and more. The ideal candidate excels at building relationships at all levels and is enthusiastic about enhancing our existing people foundation at Maven.
As an HRBP at Maven, you will:
- Partner with functional leaders across the company to understand and conceptualize their specific business, organizational, and people opportunities
- Provide proactive coaching to managers on a wide range of topics from org design, compensation, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement and belonging
- Track and analyze key indicators of organizational health and recommend ways to improve value
- Partner with other People functions including Recruiting, People Operations, People Experience and more to provide a holistic employee experience while delivering people programs to dedicated teams
- Drive key people program deliverables from inception to delivery
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize organizational effectiveness and drive performance
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 4+ years of experience as a HRBP or People Partner in a growing company
- Experience driving and participating in multiple People initiatives including performance management, employee relations, engagement, succession planning, and leadership development
- Strong communication and influencing skills; you are able to build meaningful relationships with employees and leaders at all levels across the organization
- Solid organizational skills with ability to problem solve for the short and longer-term issues
- Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment and embrace changes in focus and direction as needed
- A passion for building and contributing to scalable people processes in a creative, thoughtful, and organized way
- Experience with core HR domains, including performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and employee relations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
For candidates in NYC, CO, or CA, the base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $175,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
This role is only open to candidates in the NYC-metropolitan area and will require you to be in-office for 3 days each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). While flexibility will always be core to Maven’s policies, we also believe in the power of in-person connection. Our hybrid work policy was created with both principles in mind.
This role requires active work authorization in the US.
