The Manager of Strategic Partnerships & Syndication will serve as a key member of the Forbes Enterprise Growth team.In this role the manager will be responsible for day to day management of our strategic partners within our Accolades business while also growing our paid content syndication business. The manager will work on delivering on our partnership goals, responsibilities and objectives as defined by our strategic alliance agreements. The Manager of Strategic Partnerships & Syndication will report directly to the Group Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Licensing.
The main responsibilities include customer relationship management, project and timeline management, reporting, hosting weekly meetings with partners, working with internal cross departmental functions including: sales, marketing, events, product, engineering and legal teams to deliver on the business partnership objectives. The manager will also be responsible for growing our content syndication business by developing content concepts, determining feasibility all the way to writing proposals and managing direct sales outreach to existing and new partners. The manager will work closely with our VP of Content Licensing & Syndication at developing our go to market strategy.
The ideal candidate is smart, energetic, friendly, and polished with strong verbal communications skills. An analytical mind is just as necessary as an outgoing personality. The role requires great customer service and ability to establish rapport, timely communication and collaboration. This is a position for a motivated and passionate individual looking for a fast-paced, dynamic role that touches many parts of the media business. Ability to adjust to changes quickly and effortlessly is also vital.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with and communicate directly with strategic partners to insure adherence to our contract terms and conditions.
- Lead weekly meetings with key partner stakeholders to insure strategic alliance activities are fulfilled.
- Cross departmental work to insure timely deliverables of partnership requests including: marketing, sales and event related activities.
- Solid understanding of all facets of the media business and all Forbes licensing products including logo, badge and quote usage rights, content syndication, reprints, awards and plaques and our fast-growing Profiles products.
- Work across the media organization to assist management in all enterprise level proposal development and volume deals.
- Serve as primary liaison between the partner teams and Growth team management
- Traffic necessary paperwork and proposal deliverables through internal channels in partnership with the Accolades Sales Coordinator.
- Serve as primary liaison between the client and Forbes for all syndication opportunities.
The annual base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $165,000

In determining this range, we consider the experience, level of education (if applicable to the role), knowledge, skills, and abilities required to be had by a successful candidate as well as the budget and the company’s pay rates, generally.
