About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Program Strategy Manager who is passionate about the opportunity to reinvent and scale our Global Commercial Operations as we grow Uber Delivery! This role will be dedicated to improving the efficiency of Uber’s Sales Operations capabilities by continuously reviewing our processes and programs to optimize and scale our solutions.
The ideal candidate moves quickly and is a problem solver. They are highly organized and keep the needs of Commercial and Sales Operations Teams at the forefront. They have a reputation for delivering with quality, and they build global scalable solutions that will allow the organization to be highly productive and work with optimal efficiency. They are creative when making recommendations, balancing data, industry research, and best practices seamlessly.
As a program strategy manager, you’ll be a part of the Global DCO (Delivery Commercial Operations) team working closely with global commercial operations process owners in order to understand, design, build and drive the global transformation roadmap for a commercial process.
What You’ll Do:
- Current State Understanding and framing the process current state for end users of the process (mainly commercial and commercial operations teams) considering all regions, lines of business and segments.
- Outside In Perspective Framing and coordinating what’s needed to bring an outside perspective/ insights to the transformation meant to identify and inform the process’s future state.
- Process Roadmap Create and own with the Global Process Owners the transformation roadmap for the process. This will require the ability to translate/ break business and technology requirements into frameworks/ subcomponents that are relatable and easy to communicate within the organization.
- Connection with leadership
- Build and drive narrative/ storytelling to keep the organization aligned with the process progress, status and needs.
- Coordination of organized sessions with the organization’s leadership team to enable visibility on progress versus the roadmap, enable organized decision making, and define risks, needs and path ahead.
- Data Driven Connecting the process with the business insights team to guarantee a numbers driven transformation that’s setting strong foundations to enable standardized measurement and metrics across the organization.
- Connection with Data and Tech The future state of the process will rely heavily on what can be scalable and feasible with our technology stack. A successful PSM will be working very closely with the D&T team to guarantee that from the beginning, a roadmap is built reflecting the data and technology needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years’ experience in process, program or project management, preferably building programs/ processes that scale globally
- 3+ years’ experience designing and implementing global programs and/ organizational transformations in a highly complex organization
- Excellent program management skills, and ability to design and deliver end-to-end programs
- Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- A strategic mindset: understand and drive change with perspective required to reach our global goals & objectives
- Ability to analyze data, build reports and provide strategic insights
- With experience managing with C-level stakeholders. Comfortable working very closely with the senior leadership of the organization.
- Proactive autonomy, detail-oriented, highly organized, and highly collaborative. Can manage multiple competing workstreams.
- Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments at a similar size and scale to Uber.
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$123,500 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,000 per year.
