Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years Configuration Management experience to include implementing new processes and functions within an IT organization (Required)
  • Minimum of 4 years experience managing a CMDB (Required), preferably in a cloud of hybrid environment
  • Minimum of 4 years ITIL and ITSM practitioner experience (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years ServiceNow configuration management experience (Required)
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, Proven ability to effectively drive change (Required)
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand the larger company strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex ideas and interdependencies
  • Manage complex projects and technical teams
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability of using quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize data-driven decision-making
  • Strong technical and ITIL service management background
  • Lean practitioner certifications or training, as well as applicable experience in Continuous Improvement (Preferred)
  • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent (Required)
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • ITIL V3 or higher certification (Required)
  • Lean SixSigma certifcations or training, (Preferred)
  • ServiceNow Configuration Management Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across Jamf to maintain process consistency and align the configuration management strategy with our company vision and goals
  • Lead end-to-end configuration management processes, Act as the primary contact for configuration management processes, policies, and standards
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the configuration management process, including establishing priorities and work assignments for functional teams and stakeholders
  • Monitor, resolve, and escalate (when needed) compliance-related issues associated to defined configuration management policies and procedures
  • Lead and facilitate Configuration Management audits
  • Communicate and engage with business and IT stakeholders to gain adoption in configuration management services, concepts, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in and/or lead projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required CMDB functionality within project timeframes
  • Review significant IT infrastructure changes through the Change Management lifecycle to ensure impacts to configuration management data are properly addressed
  • Provide and approve all requirements, use cases, and efforts in support of new or improved functionality of the CMDB
  • Develop, review, and deliver configuration management reporting
  • Identify Service Improvement opportunities associated to configuration management and the broader Service Management Office
  • Collaborate with the IT Asset Manager on configuration items that will be defined as assets
  • Define and maintain the structure and integrity of the Configuration Management system, including CI types, naming conventions, attributes and relationships
  • Work directly with the Platform owner and associated teams to plan and manage support for Configuration Management tools and processes
  • Collaborate with the Service Management Office leaders and peers to contribute to Jamf service improvement, practice success factors (PSFs), Key performance indicators (KPIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as associated to Configuration Management
