The Job:
We are 20 months post implementation!! Come join our team and take us across the Workday line and to the next level!! This role is ideal for someone who loves to learn, grow, and contribute to innovative solutions while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. As a Workday Solutions Architect, you’ll be part of our Global HRIS team, reporting to the Global HRIS Product Development Manager, working as a remote employee.
You’ll get to:
- Expert in the Workday Ecosystem with multi-module experience
- Perform analysis on configuration, Business Process (BP), existing and new functionality
- Operate as a designer of both BP’s and technical requirements and can ensure implemented solutions deliver incredible experiences
- Plan, lead, and facilitate architecture workshops for new Workday modules and optimizations
- Provide guidance for project teams in presenting qualitative responses/solutions for client requirements
- Validate and challenge solutions that functional or technical teams present that may not align to protect guidelines and guiding principles
- Escalation point for complex solutions within designated Workday module. Proactively engages with ongoing projects to provide guidance on complex solutions
- Take point in troubleshooting and leading the charge on solutioning issues with the support of the configuration analysts and Product Delivery Manager.
- Engage with IT to look at their technology and provide guidance on where the Workday solution fits, or in some cases where it does not
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR and business processes through Workday automation and efficiencies. Gather business requirements, propose, and implement improvements as needed
- Contribute to large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to build outstanding experiences for our most important asset - our team members - to help accelerate4 Workday business growth
- Collaborate closely with product design, and business partners to discove44 the most impactful solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions
- Evaluate existing business processes to determine recommendations to streamline consolidate, etc.
- Evaluate existing modules to determine usage and leverage existing functionality to innovate HR Processes
- Serve as subject matter expert for Workday operations processes, functionality, and reporting
- Collaborates with product owners, configuration owners and other training stakeholders to create proof of concepts and /or development programs as required
- Serve as mentor to configuration analysis and help educate and empower team members in supporting Workday
The Person:

- 5+ Experience as Workday HRIS Administrator
- Experience in Workday implementation, Configuration, and Training
- Experience in 3+ modules (Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, HCM, Compensation, Benefits, etc.)
- Experience in other HRIS platforms (i.e. CRM’s, ATS, Service Now, SFDC, etc.) a plus
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team
- Ability to influence teammates and key stakeholders through the use of data and logic
- Must have release management experience
- Fluent in English, strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to multiple stakeholders
- Ability to change plans to meet priorities and think out of the box to meet needs effectively
- Someone who understands that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the team contributing their ideas
- Advantage: experience in a multinational corporation, preferably manufacturing or retail
