MillerKnoll misses Q1 revenue target with $926.6M as severe weather disrupts retail sales

MillerKnoll missed first-quarter expectations, with revenue of $926.6 million falling short of the $942 million analyst estimate. The company attributed the underperformance primarily to severe winter weather, which reduced retail traffic and temporarily closed stores, particularly affecting its North America Retail segment. CEO Andi Owen noted that operational disruptions also impacted manufacturing facilities. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.43, below the $0.45 estimate, whilst adjusted EBITDA of $91.1 million missed the $93.74 million forecast. Management provided cautious guidance for the second quarter, with revenue expected at $975 million and adjusted EPS at $0.52, both below analyst estimates of $993.2 million and $0.61 respectively. The company's market capitalisation stands at $988.7 million.
