Requirements
  • Knowledge of EPIC software.
  • Familiarity with PACS archiving.
  • Knowledge of hybrid Siemens equipment, advanced vascular features, and troubleshooting for Pheno and Zeego systems.
  • Knowledge of Siemens portable C-arm functions, including digital subtraction, road mapping, and measurements.
  • Familiarity with vascular supplies, including balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, and sheaths.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
  • At least two years of modality-specific work experience.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions required by the role, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to maintain the required corrected vision, color discrimination, depth perception, peripheral vision, and hearing acuity.
  • Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations and work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Ability to work in a latex-safe environment and maintain required tactile sensory functions.
  • Ability to qualify physically for respirator use when applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and clinical support to the Imaging department.
  • Operate X-ray equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Work Monday through Friday in four 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with one to two possible late shifts per week.
  • Participate in a flexible call schedule of approximately eight call shifts per month, varying by rotation.
