HEINZ rolls out the Love Lid, the first customizable ketchup lid made for summer's favorite foods. Inspired by the many ways people enjoy HEINZ, the Love Lid features three customizable settings - Like, Love, and Crazy Love - so fans can match every squeeze to what's on their plate August 10, 2026. 7:19 AM PITTSBURGH & CHICAGO - Some ketchup lovers like a little dip with their fries, others want the perfect zigzag across a hot dog and true believers think a burger isn't finished until it's wearing a blanket of HEINZ. This grilling season, HEINZ, the global leader in condiments, is celebrating the many ways people around the world enjoy their favorite ketchup with the debut of the HEINZ Love Lid. Featuring three settings - Like, Love and Crazy Love, the Love Lid is the first customizable ketchup lid designed to let fans dial in the right amount of HEINZ and choose their perfect squeeze every time. From the perfect ketchup-to-fry ratio to whether a hot dog deserves a drizzle or a full squeeze, ketchup lovers have long debated what the "right" amount of HEINZ is. Inspired by passionate online discourse, HEINZ is empowering fans to measure with their hearts for every summer favorite, allowing them to be in control of their sauce flow. "We all experience love differently and our fans' connection to ketchup is no exception. People have deeply personal rituals around how much ketchup they squeeze, and we celebrate every one of them," said Nina Patel, Vice President, Global HEINZ at the Kraft Heinz Company. "Whether they 'like it,' 'love it,' or have full-on 'crazy love,' there's no wrong way to enjoy HEINZ. The Love Lid is an innovation that lets consumers squeeze to their heart's content, because HEINZ has always been more than a condiment, and this summer we're proving we have a love language all our own." HOW TO GET THE NEW GLOBAL INNOVATION The Love Lid is the latest example of how HEINZ continues to reimagine its iconic ketchup bottle to better serve the fans who love it most. Following innovations like the HEINZ Dipper, the brand is evolving its packaging, giving fans another new way to personalize every squeeze. Available in the US and UK, the Love Lid marks a milestone in the brand's growing global footprint as HEINZ seeks to expand its reach while reinforcing fans' irrational love for its unmistakably rich sauce. To help fans make the most of grilling season, HEINZ is offering the Love Lid as part of a limited-time bundle available exclusively on www.TheLoveLid.com in the U.S. and as part of a HeinzAtHome.co.uk offering in the U.K. Each bundle will come with one bottle of HEINZ Tomato Ketchup, one Love Lid and a handout that shows the suggested squeeze based on your summer eats.

Kraft Heinz reports weak Q2 performance.

Kraft Heinz reports weak Q2 performance. Kraft Heinz net sales have fallen by 1.4 per cent year-on-year to approximately £4.6bn in Q2, with the group blaming a shift in Easter timing and inflationary pressures. The company's volume and mix went down by 2.6 per cent compared to the year before, with declines in North America and international developed markets segments. According to the business, the decrease in volume was driven by declines in meats and spoonables as well as a shift in Easter timing. Kraft Heinz's adjusted operating income decreased by 18.4 per cent compared to the year prior to approximately £0.74bn. This decline in adjusted operating income was driven by higher advertising expenses, unfavourable volume and inflationary pressures in manufacturing and logistics costs. The company's gross profit went down by 7.1 per cent to around £2.1bn compared to £1.6bn at the same time last year. Steve Cahillane, CEO of Kraft Heinz said: "Grocery Gazette delivered another solid quarter, with results that exceeded its expectations across U.S. Retail, Global Away From Home, and Emerging Markets. "Our brands are resonating with consumers, and our share performance is improving. The progress we are seeing gives us the confidence to raise our organic net sales outlook for the year." "Building on this momentum, we are also increasing our incremental investments by $100 million, to approximately $700 million in 2026. We have seen that our brands respond well when we invest behind them. By accelerating these investments, we position the business even more favourably as we enter 2027." Moving forward, Kraft Heinz expects organic sales in the full-year to decrease by between 0.5 per cent to 2 per cent and for adjusted operating income to go down by between 16 per cent and 18 per cent.
