LTSE operates as a financial market designed to support the long-term growth and profitability of innovative companies. It offers equity management services for private companies and provides a platform for public companies to list their shares. The exchange is guided by a set of principles approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which focus on innovative corporate governance and a long-term perspective. Unlike traditional exchanges, LTSE encourages companies to prioritize the interests of a wider range of stakeholders and to measure success over extended periods. This includes aligning executive and board compensation with long-term performance and ensuring that boards are actively involved in overseeing long-term strategies. LTSE generates revenue through listing fees from public companies and service fees from private companies utilizing its equity management services.
