Responsibilities
  • Establish and build relationships internally and with junior level clients
  • Demonstrate business etiquette in meetings and written communications
  • Provide administrative support to the team including updating status reports, taking meeting
  • Notes, scheduling meetings, budget tracking, etc
  • Begin to 'manage the making' of communications assets and understand Ogilvy's process
  • Manage small projects and support senior team members on larger projects
  • Assist with project management/workflow system data entry and reporting
  • Complete basic analyses of client's business results and competitive landscapes
  • Become familiar with Ogilvy's departments and expert groups and their roles
  • Beginning to work on drafting news releases, pitch letters, case histories, and promotional materials (product fact sheets, etc.)
  • Helps develop media lists and other reports (e.g., competitor, consumer, or interest group analyses) completely and accurately
  • Conducts editorial outreach and is gaining understanding of the dynamics of media relations
