Requirements
  • An active and unrestricted Illinois medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration registration are required before the start date.
  • Board eligibility or board certification in Urology is required.
  • A Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree is required.
  • Competence in delivering healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients is required.
  • A physician license in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • A controlled-substance license for the state and a federal Drug Enforcement Administration registration must be maintained when applicable to the specialty.
  • Successful completion of, or current enrollment in, an accredited residency program is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide urology healthcare services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Perform surgical cases using the available da Vinci robotic surgical system.
  • Participate in call responsibilities, to be discussed.
