Responsibilities
  • O Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, market conditions, and competitive dynamics. Analyze deal-specific requirements and propose pricing and contract terms that meet both customer expectations and company profitability goals
  • 0 Develop and maintain pricing models and strategies that consider factors such as product cost, market demand, competitive positioning, and pricing elasticity. Ensure that pricing is consistent and competitive across different customer segments and geographies
  • O Manage a structured pricing approval process for deals, including deal reviews, escalations, and cross-functional collaboration. Ensure that all necessary stakeholders provide input and approve deal terms and pricing
  • O Evaluate the financial and contractual risks associated with deals and propose mitigation strategies. Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements
  • O Create and maintain accurate deal documentation, including contracts, amendments, and addendums. Implement a system for tracking and managing contract lifecycles, renewals, and compliance
  • O Monitor the performance of deals against their expected outcomes, including revenue recognition, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
  • O Utilize data analytics tools to analyze historical deal data and provide insights to support pricing decisions and deal negotiations. Use data-driven approaches to refine pricing and deal strategies
  • O Provide training and guidance to sales teams on deal desk processes including creation and execution of all deals, pricing tools, pricing models, and contract terms. Ensure that sales representatives have a strong understanding of how deals are structured and priced
  • O Collaborate with various departments, including sales, finance, legal, product management, and operations, to align deal desk activities with the overall business strategy
  • O Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to deal desk operations. Continuously improve deal desk processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • O Collaborate with sales, marketing, product management, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business goals
  • O Communicate pricing changes and strategies to internal stakeholders
  • O Establish pricing policies, guidelines, and processes to maintain consistency and transparency in pricing decisions
  • O Ensure compliance with pricing regulations and industry standards
  • O Identify opportunities for price optimization, including segmentation, bundling, and promotional strategies
  • O Prepare and present regular reports on pricing performance and recommendations to senior management
  • O Maintain comprehensive documentation of pricing strategies and decisions
  • O Collect and analyze customer feedback related to pricing and adjust strategies accordingly to enhance customer satisfaction
