Requirements
  • 120 UCAS points (2017 UCAS tariff scale) and predicated 1st or 2i degree
Responsibilities
  • Work on a live Digital Twin model of our Birmingham office and Technology Centre using Autodesk Tandem and Autodesk Tandem Connect
  • Research and implement ‘off-the-shelf’ IOT sensors
  • Process real-time data from manufacturing equipment and IOT sensors and prepare this data to be ingested by the Digital Twin model
  • Collaborate and liaise with a diverse manufacturing team and other stakeholders across Autodesk
Desired Qualifications
  • An appreciation of the uses and capabilities of manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, polymer 3D printers and metal additive machines
  • An interest in programming and scripting with experience in at least two of: JavaScript / NodeJS, Node-RED, Python, using third-party APIs, Postman, Git & Github, Windows & Linux command line, Dashboards / Power BI
  • Some computer networking experience. Wired and wireless networking, MAC addresses, IP addressing (IP address ranges, subnet masks and CIDR)
  • Experience with MQTT, OPC-UA, MTConnect are a plus
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g. Autodesk Fusion or similar), BIM Software (e.g. Autodesk Revit), Discrete Event Simulation software (e.g. Autodesk FlexSim), Building Management Systems or design and manufacturing industries are a plus
