Requirements
  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required.
  • A clean driving record and a strong commitment to safety are required.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and safe driving practices is required.
  • The ability to perform basic truck maintenance and safety checks is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are required.
  • The candidate must be reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing work demands.
  • The candidate must be willing to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate an end dump truck to transport aggregate, sand, gravel, and other materials to and from job sites and plants.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe, working condition.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies.
  • Load and unload materials using proper procedures to prevent spills and damage.
  • Communicate with dispatch, plant staff, and customers.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
  • Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of the truck.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and routes to meet customer and company needs.
  • Provide customer service on every delivery.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating end dump trucks or similar equipment is preferred.
