Requirements
  • Must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), with overtime as needed.
  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar role.
  • Must be able to perform inspections in permit-required confined spaces.
  • 1+ years of experience using boom lifts, mobile lifts, and scissor lifts.
  • American Society for Quality Certifications (CQI, CQT, Six Sigma, etc.).
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or Inspection Authorization.
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections of aerospace hardware, sub-assemblies, and systems.
  • Verify routine conformance to design requirements.
  • Provide objective evidence of inspection results.
  • Document all noted defects or discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to installation procedures and engineering specifications.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and other departments.
  • Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiate requests for corrective action.
  • Segregate and control non-conforming items.
  • Perform regular audits of processes, tool controls, and calibration.
