Requirements
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
  • The candidate must have at least 2 years of ski lift maintenance industry experience, specifically in electrical work.
  • The candidate must have working knowledge of low- and high-voltage systems, programmable logic controllers, sensors, motors, and variable frequency drives.
  • The candidate must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and at heights.
  • The candidate must be able to ski or snowboard for access to mountain work locations.
  • The candidate must provide a basic electrical tool set.
  • The candidate must be able to lift up to 60 pounds unassisted.
  • The candidate must be able to push and pull equipment and components weighing up to 80 pounds with assistance.
  • The candidate must be able to stand and sit for extended periods and climb multiple flights of stairs or towers.
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily electrical inspections and safety checks on aerial lift systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and component failures across various lift types.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.
  • Understand and comply with ANSI B77.1 standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Work at heights up to 80 feet using ladders, towers, and fall-protection equipment.
  • Assist with start-up procedures before lift operations begin each morning.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with Lift Maintenance teammates and other departments to ensure safe and timely lift operations.
  • Use good judgment and a proactive mindset to address potential issues before they affect operations.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in high-stress situations.
