Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the Food & Beverage business.
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple-frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Ability to access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.

  • Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, with reliable and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions where common allergens may be handled or present.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity and other elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver a consistent guest experience and ensure team members understand, are trained in and consistently deliver Target’s guest experience commitments and operations.
  • Observe team performance, provide feedback, hold team members accountable and recognize strong guest experience moments.
  • Review guest, financial and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action, align the team on behaviors and execution, celebrate wins and drive results.
  • Plan and execute daily and weekly workload to achieve department and store sales goals, including merchandising, pricing, salesfloor display changes, sampling and promotions.
  • Lead an efficient, guest-focused Food & Beverage team in completing Food & Beverage Daily Standards walks.
  • Assess Food & Beverage and Food Service backroom and salesfloor areas, prioritize business needs, identify team workload tasks and review reporting for business trends.
  • Establish goals and expectations, hold team members accountable and follow up on progress against prioritized workload tasks and production-area routines.
  • Partner with store leadership through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables.
  • Maintain fresh, full and food-safe areas using inventory management, area routines and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
  • Lead best-practice execution and close skill gaps through development, coaching, training and team interactions.
  • Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends using store reporting and headquarters communications.
  • Develop and maintain vendor partnerships, ensure delivery and merchandising standards are met, and place store-initiated orders where applicable.
  • Stay current on relevant trends and products to educate team members.
  • Support hiring and onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Support guest services such as backup cashier, order pickup and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on federal, state and local adult beverage laws and protect the store’s liquor license when applicable.
  • Lead the team in maintaining Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and partner with the Starbucks district manager when applicable.
  • Complete Food Safety Manager Certification and applicable Starbucks or Pizza Hut training and certification requirements.
  • Attend required in-store planning and business meetings and follow up on district manager takeaways when applicable.
  • Lead ethical conduct, safety and compliance practices and hold team members accountable.
  • Model safety practices, identify and correct hazards, assist with incident response, and report and investigate injuries accurately and promptly.
  • Execute physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies across the store.
  • Promote inclusive and equitable experiences for guests and team members.
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Occasionally assume store-level leadership-on-duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Address store emergency and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
