NC3 Systems Administrator

The Opportunity:

As a Defense Mission Expert, you’ll bring your technical expertise and knowledge of systems development and management to work alongside leaders on projects for nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3) systems. You’ll use your skills and expertise to analyze, develop and support the NC3 community.

You’ll work with us to analyze, assess, secure, and manage our nation’s most valuable NC3 systems in a variety of new and exciting challenges and opportunities in areas such as SolarWinds SEM and NPM, providing assurance in capturing the integration and aggregation of all tools, configuring, deploying, and operating Ansible, providing assurance of timeline continuity, technical document writing, configuring, integrating, and deploying YUM, and Linux vulnerability remediation, including deploying and configuring Yellowdog Update Manager.

You Have:  

• 5+ years of experience with systems domain, configuration, and management
• Experience with Linux domain management and Ansible
• Experience configuring, integrating, and deploying Cisco devices
• Experience with Instructional Systems Designs
• Knowledge of NC3 systems
• Ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions for them
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:  

• 7+ years of experience with NC3 equipment and systems   
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree a plus
• Linux, SolarWinds NCM or NPM, Yellowdog, Cisco, C#, Java, Coding, or Instructional Systems Design Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
