Adjunct Faculty

The Maine Business School at the University of Maine seeks to fill one or more part-time temporary (adjunct) faculty positions in the following potential areas: Strategic Marketing (Fall 2025), International Business, Organizational Behavior (Spring 2026), Corporate Finance (Spring 2026) Sport Management (Fall 2025) and Supply Chain Management (Fall 2025 & Spring 2026).

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: syllabus development aligned with college expectations, lessons planning, assignment design, grading, office hours, correspondence with students, use of an online learning management system and/or instructional software, course coordination meetings with the Dean, Associate Dean, or other faculty members, and required orientation and training.

Part-time temporary faculty members may be rehired in subsequent semesters based on course availability, schedule, funding, and performance. Continuation is subject to the terms of the PATFA bargaining agreement and other applicable College and University policies. Part-time faculty members are compensated on a per-credit-hour basis, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and in accordance with the Maine Part-Time Faculty Association (PATFA) contract. Qualifications:
Required:

• MBA or other master’s degree in a closely related field. 
• Current relevant professional experience in the field (at least 5 years). 

Preferred: 

• PhD in a related field.
• Prior teaching experience; effective oral & written communication skills. 
• Five or more years of Business or Industry experience.
