Requirements
  • An active Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and successfully complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
  • At least 10 years of Department of Defense experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or information systems security is required.
  • At least 4 years of experience supporting Special Access Program and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information environments within the past five years is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience implementing and supporting Department of Defense Risk Management Framework security controls, cybersecurity policies, and compliance requirements is required.
  • A master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • SecurityX, CASP+, or an equivalent or higher certification is required to meet DoDM 8140.03.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework, cybersecurity, cyber engineering, and information assurance.
  • Provide technical guidance and actionable recommendations to senior leadership to support cybersecurity objectives and mission success.
  • Communicate complex technical and security concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize operational impact.
  • Support the implementation, assessment, and maintenance of Risk Management Framework security controls throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with program management, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with Department of Defense security policies and mission requirements.
  • Support government and industry program activities, including occasional travel to customer and contractor locations as required.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and mission success in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
