We are seeking an experienced Director of Access, Belonging and Culture to provide senior-levelleadership for institutional efforts that

advanceequitableaccess, inclusive excellence, and global engagement within a higher education setting. The Director oversees disability andaccommodationssupport services; international student support, including visa and immigration compliance; and cultural and global education initiatives.

This position ensures compliance with federal regulations, promotes inclusive campus practices, andleadsassessment-driven program development to enhance student learning, persistence, and success.The Director reports to the Vice Provost. 

The Director serves as a campus leader and subject-matter expert in disability access, international student support, and cultural education, working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and senior leadership to support the institution’s mission and strategic priorities.

Qualifications/Competencies/Skills

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, Education, orrelatedfield (Doctorate preferred).

• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in disability support services,including supervisory and leadership experience in higher education.

  DemonstratedexpertiseinSection 504 of the Rehabilitation Act,ADA, and related federal accessibility laws and regulations.

  Experience with budget planning, fiscal management, and resource allocation in a higher education setting.

  Demonstrated leadership skills, including staff supervision, performance evaluation, and professional development.

  Proven knowledge and experience inprogram assessment, outcomes measurement, and continuous improvement.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience overseeing or working closely with international student services and visa/immigration compliance.

  Experience leading cultural, diversity, or global education initiatives in a college or university environment.

  Familiarity with accreditation standards related to student support services.

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of student development theory and inclusive pedagogy.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated commitment to access, belonging, and equity in higher education.

Compensation/Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000. It is competitive, market-based, and aligned with the University’s financial framework, ensuring your skills and experience are recognized and rewarded.
