Greenworks makes battery-powered outdoor power equipment like lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws that run on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Its products are designed to replace gasoline tools in homes and professional settings by offering a cordless, low-maintenance option. How it works: tools share an interchangeable battery platform, so one battery powers multiple lawn and garden devices; users charge the battery and swap it among tools as needed. How it stands out: it targets both consumers and professionals with a full ecosystem of compatible tools, providing convenience and brand loyalty through a multi-tool battery system and a broad distribution network including home improvement stores, online retailers, and its own site. Its goal is to provide a sustainable, easy-to-use alternative to gas-powered equipment while supporting ongoing purchases within its ecosystem.
