What you will do 

Qualifications

• BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MSc/ MCA qualification or equivalent
• Post-graduation in technology is preferred
• ITIL certification is desirable.

Expectations

• Proven experience (10 years) in cloud operations (Open source will be a value addition), with expertise in managing large-scale cloud environments.
• Will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of our cloud infrastructure and services. Role will involve leading a team of cloud operations engineers and administrators to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.
• The DCM will work closely with other technology leaders to design and implement efficient cloud solutions that align with our business objectives.
• Experience of at least 3 - 5 years in a similar operations and people management role
• At least 3 years as a core people manager with a proven track record in managing large and diverse teams

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Hands-on experience with cloud automation, orchestration, and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automated infrastructure deployment and management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing operational challenges.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, preferred).
